Feeling festive yet? Going away for some winter sun? Sharkskin provide a range of unique technical water sports protection garments, designed and made in Australia, equivalent to 2.5-3 mm wetsuit but without the weight, discomfort and smell of neoprene.
1kg, the full suit is a perfect traveling companion for scuba and kayaking whether you’re off to Asia, Indonesia or somewhere else that we’re jealous about! Find your nearest stockist of this great brand here http://www.liquidsports.co.uk/stockists
One for the boys this weekend at the the Kevlar BDS means business. At just over 3 kilos, the only breathable on the market giving extra comfort beyond all other suits. 20% Kevlar gives the membrane its strength and durability – perfect for wreck divers.
Sharkskin technical exposure protection has had a warm welcome from the UK diving community on a very cold weekend at the NEC Dive Show 2012!
The ladies love that it is neutrally buoyant (loose that lead!) and it’s 4-way stretch – it’s so easy to put on.
Then you should be using the Kevlar breathable suit from Ursuit. Moments before a night-dive in Australia’s Great Barrier Reef with the Spirit Of Freedom live-aboard dive yacht. Knocked-off 15 dives in just a few days–but the most special part of the trip was the people we met on on our floating home for a week.
Check-out www.spiritoffreedom.com to book your own live-aboard in the land down-under.
Here is a little video of a few adventure travel moments while aboard and below the sea:
Last year when we did our surf boat race we had thermal tops, which literally became useless as soon as you got near the water. Just tried out the shark skin tops when we had our first competition in Wales, in what can only be described as typical Welsh weather, windy, wet & cold! However when we where stood in the water, waiting for the starters whistle with the waves crashing over us, the water just rolled of the shark skins tops, I didnt even notice the cold! I would 100% recommend anyone who does any type of water sports especially in the erratic climate we have in the UK, to try SharkSkin just once, you will never use anything else I promise you.
SharkSkin technical exposure protection great for water temperature 27℃, great for 17℃ as an under suit, great for 7℃ as a base layer. Winter proof your water sport! See the range at Wraysbury Dive Centre this weekend!
